Time stamping when yes, no option is selected

     Hi

I have an infopath form, and their is a requirement to amend it, There is to be a new Yes No choices box, the requirement is that when the form is in edit view, if the choicebox is selected with

either yes or no, there is a timestamp created.  This is to report on whether an attempt to action was done based on yes/noand the time/date of it.

Correct me if I am wrong,  i need a choices box (yes/no) and a date/time box  and set a rule on the date/time that if choices is yes or no to set to data/time now

Could anyone write this as a expression or formula?

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

You've almost got it: you'll want the rule to exist on the yes/no choice box. When the user makes a selection, there will be a rule conditioned for yes and a rule conditioned for no. The action will be simple: just "Set a field's value" and you can use today() or now() as the formula.

    Good luck!
