Data Connections not kept upon exiting InfoPath Designer

I am using Data Connections to get information from a regular document library.  Once I setup the data connection and preview everything is fine.  I can even publish the form and the published form works great.  But when I go to exit InfoPath Designer 2010 and reopen the form template again the data connections have been truncated.  They loose the site location and I have to delete them and create them again.  Please help this is driving me crazy.

Well I have found the problem.  it appears that when you are using InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2007 there are issues with the data connections under certain combinations.  If you create a form as 2010 Filler form and do a data connect to a 2007 document library it appears to work just fine.  You can publish the form and the published form will work fine.  As soon as you exit out of Designer and come back in to modify the form the data connection drops the site value.  And  you cannot modify the connection you have to delete it and rebuild it which means you have to go back to your form and re-connect each of the controls that were connected to the SharePoint document library.  If you have web services enabled then the connection works fine.   So the bottom line is if you are creating a Filler form with InfoPath 2010 and connecting to SharePoint 2007 you must use the Filler Form 2007 or you will have issues.  -Murph
