Copy repeating table format with new bindings

I have a repeating table that I would like to split into three repeating tables, referencing three different repeating groups.

If I copy the table, I can change the bindings on the fields.  But when I try to change the binding on the table itself, I choose the repeating group I want, and then am faced with the "Repeating Table Binding" dialog box in which I am forced to choose what columns I want to show in the table.  Once I choose one or more columns, the formatting of the new repeating table is replaced by the columns in a generic format.

So I have now lost the custom formatting of the table.  I would like the new tables to have the exact same formatting as the first and don't want to have to draw a new table, as this is tedious and won't look exactly like the first one anyway.

Is there a way to do this?

As far as I know, there's no way to accomplish this. You've run into an annoying InfoPath limitation that I've run into before. Sadly I have to re-do the formatting on the table if I re-bind it.
