SharePoint folder mappings via DBXL 2.5

Trying to use the DBXL SharePoint mapping to submit to a SharePoint forms library containing a simple folder structure.  I use an XML field in the form to determine which folder the form should be saved to and evaluate via an xpath expression.  I initially tried to configure this in the DAT as:

    SharePoint URL - http://myserver/formlibrary/folder1  - expression:  /my:myFields/my:ComponentGroup/my:Folder="Folder1"

    SharePoint URL - http://myserver/formlibrary/folder2  - expression:  /my:myFields/my:ComponentGroup/my:Folder="Folder2"

     SharePoint URL - http://myserver/formlibrary/folder3  - expression:  /my:myFields/my:ComponentGroup/my:Folder="Folder3"

    ETC.......

I've run into a problem with this approach as DBXL only allows 2 SharePoint mappings.  Is there another approach in DBXL that will allow this without exceeding the # of mappings?

In the past I did this via rules to allow InfoPath to submit directly to SharePoint but I'd like to use DBXL if possible.

    thanks

    Hello DC-Jeff,

It is possible to purchase an additional license pack to increase the maximum number of SharePoint mappings.  Please contact sales AT qdabra DOT com for more information.

    Thanks for using DBXL!

Jimmy - Is it possible to do what I'm proposing via DBXL?  I get "An unhandled exception occured when calling the SetDocumentType method - S0002: Caught exception ensuring SharPoint form library http://myserver/formlibrary/folder1.  Unable to find the specified file"

Works fine when I reference the root of the document library, just not when including the folder in the URL.  Is there a way within DBXL to direct documents to a specific folder?

    thanks

Re: SharePoint folder mappings via DBXL 2.5

    Hello DC-jeff,

I conferred with a few other people, but to the best of our knowledge there isn't a way to map to a subfolder at the moment.  We'd be happy to take it under consideration for a future feature, but can't guarantee when or if that would happen.

        Two other options:

Have a separate form library for each of these groupings - Is there a specific reason you want them in subfolders of one library?

Use qRules' ChangeSubmitUrl command to set the desired location and submit directly to SharePoint from your form instead of through a SharePoint mapping.  This would require you to submit to DBXL first, then to SharePoint whenever the form is submitted.

Would either of those work for you? Is this a scenario where certain documents would be in one folder for a while, and then essentially moved somewhere else when a field value changed?

Thanks for looking into this Jimmy.  I ended up going the route of separate forms libraries vs folders.

As for the specific reason I'm looking into this:  it's very easy to apply permissions at the folder level within a library to limit access to documents with certain characteristics.  Seems much more efficient from a DAT perspective than having the XSN published to multiple forms libraries.

    thanks
