    Its complicated

    Hi,
    Thanks for your help in advance...
    On my form i have a master/detail control. The master is contained within a scrolling region. I have a button on the detail control which is meant to set/unset a check box on the detail control. As per code.

    function btnDelete::OnClick(eventObj)
    {
    var deleted = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:PropertyLeaseDetails/@chkDeleted");
    var resp = XDocument.UI.Confirm("Are you sure you want to deactivate this record?", 4);

    if (resp == 6 ) {

    deleted.text = true;
    XDocument.Submit();
    XDocument.UI.Alert("Record Deactivated!");
    XDocument.Query();
    }
    }

    The problem is that it only unsets the first item that appears in the master section. Regardless if you have another record selected in the master section. Eg. if i select the last item in the master section and click on the delete button. It will delete the first item in the masters section. All the bloody time.

    ive tried objEvent.site and objEvent.source but didn't work. these are read only are they not?

    help pls
