InfoPath-SharePoint integrate with Java side servlet business logic

     Hi,

I have a case that requires InfoPath-Sharepoint form integrate with a Java servlet container where the business logic lives.

    Scenario :

There is a Tomcat web server where the business logic application has been deployed. To accept a request, client side needs to HTTP POST the parameters in the form of XML to a servlet URL for further processing and then return back the result in the form of another xml format again.

For the client side right now, there is a InfoPath-Sharepoint form with 2000+ fields, when the user enters a value into a field and then click lose focus the field, the field value will be submitted,  generate the XML format parameter and then HTTP POST this xml to the Java side and then wait for the return xml result from the Java side.

    Question :

Does any expert has such experience or have an idea how to implement the client side? I am not a InfoPath developer but Java developer.  From my knowledge, I thought there should have a .NET C# at the backend to receive the submitted the data, generate the xml format and HTTP POST to the Java side.  Unfortunately, it looks like it doesn't apply to the InfoPath world.

    Please advise for any approach.

    Thank you very much

    Benson
