    VSTA for InfoPath 2010

Okay, I’m thoroughly confused. I’ve searched this site and the googled this as much as I can stand and haven’t found anything that really spells this out.I have InfoPath 2010 installed.  When installing, I selected the “.Net Programmability Support” option. When I access the code behind in a form, Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Applications is launched. Is this the same things as VSTA 2.0?  I keep seeing references on the internet to that version that allows for access to the .NET 3.5 framework.

Well, that is VSTA. There is no support for InfoPath projects in Visual Studio 2010, so you'll want to stick with 2008 or 2005 for now. We use 2008 here.
