Is there a need for back-up for the forms on the sharepoint. if yes, how can back up be created for forms existing or being created on sharepoint-infopath interactive environment?

Also, are there any capacity/space or heavy load  issues that could be a problem if more and more forms are created. If yes, how can these be handled?

    Hi TechPundit,

If your IT team isn't performing backups or if you are the IT team, then YES - you need to perform backups because computers can crash and that includes SharePoint since it runs on a computer.

Microsoft recommends that you limit your form libraries to 3000-5000 entries to reduce view performance issues. Qdabra's DBXL stores forms in the database and is a way to reach beyond the default limits of SharePoint (for organizations that have more than 5000 forms in one library or who need database mapping for reporting purposes).
