    master/detail question

    hi,

    i have a secondary data source that i want to use as the master table in a master/detail form, however when i put the repeating table on the form the master/detail stuff is greyed out... is there a reason for this or a work around?

    Master Detail sections do not work with secondary data sources. they only work with the main data source. That is an InfoPath limitation.
