    Infopath Controls

I have created an Infopath form and I am writing a procedure in vbscript to do some calculations. In order to complete the calculations, I need to use the values from my form's drop down list box and text box. How do I access the form controls' values/properties in Infopath with vbscript?

(ex: with Access one would use VBA to do it like this: )application.forms(0).controls(0).value

How do I do it in Infopath? Thanks!

You need to use the XML Object Model and XPath to access your values. You have a field to which the drop-down list is bound. That field holds the selected value of the drop-down list.

So you would do something like:

    XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:DropDown1").text
