Good afternoon.
I have the following scenario:
I have a DatePicker field, a TextBox looking for the # of months to add, another TextBox which will house the result, a date picker which houses a date for comparision to result, and a TextBox that will display YES or NO depend on if it is <= comparison date.
9/17/2014 + 3 = 12/17/2014 Compare Date: 12/03/2014 YES
It would be a simple matter if there was an addMonths() like the addDays(). I know Excel has an EDATE([DateField],# of months).
I am kicking around a few formulas:
number(substring([DateField], 9, 2)) 'Day
number(substring([DateField], 6, 2)) 'Month
number(substring([DateField], 1, 4)) 'Year
concat(number(substring([DateField], 1, 4)),"-",number(substring([DateField], 6, 2)),"-",number(substring([DateField], 9, 2)))
Does anyone know a good way to accomplish this without scripting?
Thank you, WHEELS
