 My Scenario

   I have an InfoPath template and the data is stored in SQL Server.

 My question

   Using Qrules, Can I save the Digital Signature in SQL Server (via GetXML) and populate the digital signature back to the template via (SetXML).

Hi - this is an interesting question - it is not something I have tried. Have you given it a shot and run into issues?

I tired 2 ways, But neither of them worked

Stored the signature xml tag alone in SQL, Retrieve via Stored Procedure and

1) Set the XML using QRules's 6.1  SetXML Method

2) Set the XML using InfoPath 2010 Object Model ( as XML AppendChild)

In both approaches, The InfoPath couldn't  validate the Digital Signature.

 It looks like when you use XML's AppendChild, it strips off any pre or post blank spaces, Carriage Return and Tabs and Hence the infopath can't validate the signature
