Copy Form library item from Infopath button click

I need to copy a form library item from infopath form. I'm not supposed to write any code in C#. I would be having a drop-down where all the keys of existing items are there. Once the user selects an item in drop down and enters a new value in text box, Infopath has to copy the selected form library item and paste in same library with the new name which I have entered in textbox. Please let me know for options. I wish not to go through work flow. If that is the only way that how to trigger WF from infopath form Thanks in advance for your answers

    Hi Ramanan,

I would suggest using a hyperlink to open the forms up, this way you will not need to copy the items anymore since you are already opening the actual form itself. Then, what you would need to do is add a copy button to the published form (you may need to add a hide show logic to this button - hide if the form is new form and show if the form has already been submitted). What this button should allow you to do is re-name the form's name so that you can submit the form as a different item. Is this approach possible for you?
