    Hi Lamine,

There are three ways to set the drop-down list values. If you left click on the drop-down control and select properties, you will see the choices available. The first one allows you to enter values manually, the second allows you to get the values from a repeating table on your current form, the third one will need a data connection which retrieves values.  Please let me know if this helps.

    Re: Set value Infopath Dropdownlist

My dropdownlist is populated dynamically from a SharePoint list using a data connection. A user can have mutliple choices or  just a one choice.  I would like that when he have just one choice in the dropdownlist to select by default this value.

    How to achieve my requirement.

    Hi Lamine,

Thank you for clarifying your issue. To my understanding, if the data connection will only return one value (meaning only one choice for the drop down list), you would like to set that as the default value, is that correct?, If so, then you would need to add a rule that sets the drop down list to the specific value returned using the condition Number of occurrences = 1. Please check the Form Load rules of the sample form I am attaching (download the form, right click and open in designer), which sets the drop down value if there is only one value available from the repeating data. Hope this makes sense.
