InfoPath Dev

I'm using InfoPath 2007.  I have a footer in my form that prints the date and time and userName(), but only the date and time are printing on the printed version.  I am setting a field called txtCurrentUser with the function userName() in the forms Open behavior rules.  I clear the field first, then populate with current user.  My footer looks like below:

 Printed: &d &t by &{/my:myFields/my:Admin/my:Filename/my:txtCurrentUser&}

The correct user is displaying in preview mode but is not printing on production form.  I have disabled all form open and save features except Autosave because I am printing the form from a custom button from code behind.  This form has no qrules or dbxl.

How can I get the field value to appear?

I had not remembered that a form field could be added to a footer, but I see that it can (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath-help/insert-data-from-the-form-in-a-header-or-footer-HA010024034.aspx)

If you print via the InfoPath File menu, does the footer print correctly?

Thank you Hilary - I actually read that same post when I had the problem. I ended up removing the footer on all my print view pages (about 8 of them), saving them with no footer then going back into each one and manually adding the parameters back in.  the textbox field now prints the current user.

I think I might have copied and pasted the footer in all views before and InfoPath balks at that for form fields!
