    Dropdown lists and data connections

I have a repeating table where there is a drop down list that selects which secondary data connection should be used. this then unhides another dropdown box where the user can choose the item they want. The problem i have is that each data connection requires it own drop down box. This leaves 2 dropdown lists blank. I want to make sure that no field is left blank but becasue it is a repeating table I can't just say ignore the dropdown list x & y if a is selected.

Is it possible to use a dropdown list to choose which data connection another dropdown list uses to find data.

    Hi,

I understand that you do not want to have fields left blank on your form, but I don't that that there is a way to choose which data connection a drop-down field display. However, is it possible for you to hide these rows based on a certain condition? or you could make use of qRules' Delete command for deleting certain rows. Hope this helps.
