Rule for hiding a repeating table section

I have a solution that contains a search section using the DBXL web service command FindUsersByName.  The search itself works just fine, however, the template part I originally created won't publish to a browser form.  I get a designer error that says "Section cannot store bound data type".  I also have a section below bound to the repeating table the first section references, the intent of this section is to allow the user to insert as many approvers from the search results as required.  Rules fire that populate static data related to the approver authority when selected.

The search and inserting of results works just fine, the problem I'm having is how to correctly bind the two separate sections so I can hide the search section when a customer selects an approver, then reveal the search section again when they insert a new row in the approvers section directly below.  I'm attaching a screenshot.  What I need to know is twofold:  how to correctly bind the sections, and how to hide the ApproverSearch section when the last row of the table is filled with data.

    Thanks.

Any thoughts, words of wisdom on this?  Need more information?  I really need to get this solved.  Thanks.
