Views and create new form with a different view - Help please

Hi guys, I am working on a project that is doing my head in and any advice would be much appreciated. Basically I am working on a New Joiner form where any hiring manager can raise a new joiner request. So New Form (View A) is submitted by the user, then gets approved by HR (View B), then Approved by COO (View C). Once approved by the COO, the form goes to (view D) which is a read only view. IT needs certain information from the form into their own New Starter process, I tried doing their own view but HR need the final view for archive purposes and IT shouldn’t be able to see salary information of new joiners! I am using a form library within SharePoint 2010. Is there a way for me to pass only certain fields into a different Form library where only an IT InfoPath view is available? Your help is much appreciated. Eihab

    Hi,

I am not sure I got the whole story, but if you are interested in passing parameters to a new form without writing code, here is a link which did the trick for me.

     Hope it helps.

Thanks for that, Not sure that it helps me per say, I basically need some columns of the form to be created/copied into a SharePoint list or a Form Library with a certain trimmed down view. I have been searching Google but doesn't seem to be running into a workable solution. cheers
