Hello

I'm trying to create different views for a SharePoint Site that would allow someone to see their specific assignment tasks and not an entire list of assignments. I need to be able to do this from the main list view page as well as creating a web part on the home page of a site with this particular list view embedded into it.  Could anyone point me in the right direction?

 By default a Sharepoint library has a view "My Documents" where X is assigned to [Me]. If you're publishing your form to a library, you'll need a workflow to change my name to its Active Directory equivalent (assume you're on Windows platform).  Then the [Me] filter will still work.

The homepage you just need to add a list web part and make sure (web part properties) you're looking at the correct view.
