Here is my scenario... I have a dropdown list with multiple selections (field1), each selection's value is set to a url of a different form.  I currently have a hyperlink that launches the url of the selection in field1, but the current form remains open afterwards.  I then created a button that closes after pressed, but cant figure out how to get it to launch a url. Ideally, I want a button that launches the url (value of field1) and then closes the current form.  Is this possible?

This is probably one of InfoPath's limitations, out of the box? I don't think it's possible. However, I was able to read a blog somewhere which guides you to change the URL location after the form closes, but may probably be limited to one URL only, so you may need to right some code. But if you are working with non-browser forms, you may wan't to check out qRules' OpenUrlInBrowser command.
