The global element 'Result' has already been declared.

Recently purchased a qRules license after building a template using the trial license. I made a copy of the template and reinjected the form using the official licensed form injector tool. I then published the template to our SharePoint site with InfoPath forms services, making sure to make the form full trust and enabled to be filled out in the browser as an administrator-approved form template.

My SharePoint Administrator attempted to upload the template to Central Admin with the intention of activating the template to a site collection like we had done numerous times with the previous template that was build with the trial version of qRules. This time, however, he encountered the error "The global element 'Result' has already been declared." when just trying to upload the template to Central Admin.

Has anyone else encountered this error before and if so how did you go about resolving the problem?

    I appreciate your help!

    Hi David,

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with qRules. Can you email us at support at qdabra dot com so we can check the issue?

    Thanks.

Just to update the thread in case anyone else runs into this:

After saving your form as source files, I can see there are two QdabraRules.xsd files – one is named QdabraRules1. I’ve seen this happen if the data connection is walked through in the designer and then the form is re-injected. InfoPath renames the schema file, appending the “1”, and then the injector adds a new file rather than overwriting.

I manually cleaned up your form and sent it back to you - hopefully this will take care of the issue. I've added a case in our bug tracking database so we can address this in a future qRules release.

Thank you very much Hilary for your help and amazing response time!  Our SharePoint Administrator is out of the office today, but I am confident that he will be successful the next time he attempts to upload our template.

     I'll post back to confirm.

     Thanks again!
