Document Information Panel (by InfoPath) with custom code generates always an error - even if there's no code.

I hope anyone  is able to help me out. I've no clue what's going on here.

    This is the situation.

    1) I've got a document library with one content type called "My Content Type"
    2) "My content type" does have a custom document information panel. The document information panel is a really simple one.
    3) When I create a new document based on "My content type", Word 2013 opens and show the content type. All good.
    4) Now I add some custom code to the content type. Within InfoPath, I select one of the fields and choose from the "Developer" tap "Changed Event".
    5) Visual Studio opens up, it adds some standard blank skeleton code. I decide to leave this as it is (for testing purpose). So I click on save and close Visual Studio so I'm in InfoPath again.
    6) I publish the InfoPath file.
    7) When I test it again by creating a new document: Boom, error.

    The error is:

"Document Information Panel cannot open a new form.
The form cannot be opened. To fix this problem, contact the form designer.
    Form template: https://mysite.sharepoint.com/sites/test/_cts/o2013/a1b41f163e432a31customXsn.xsn
Document Information Panel cannot open the selected form because of an error in the form's code.
     Error in the application."

This error doesn't make any sense at all, since no matter what code I add - it always gives this specific error message.

    Related facts:

    1) I added the Sharepoint site as Trusted Site in Internet Explorer;
    2) In InfoPath, in the Security and Trust tab, I put the Security Leven on Full Trust and added a certificate.
    3) Within Word 2013, I added the Sharepoint site as Trusted Site.
    4) It just works fine in Word 2010.
    5) A Microsoft Sharepoint specialist couldn't help me because this is about custom code. Even I didn't add a single line of code. He told me to ask it here.
