Trying to add just the past year data. Rolling sums and Infopath/SharePoint

I am a newer user to Sharepoint 2010 and Infopath 2010. On my current form, users are asked how much fuel was used. This value is recorded into a Sharepoint form library. What I also need a field that displays the past 365 days worth of fuel usage. So take today entry add it to the running total, and drop the value that is over 365 days old. Is it possible to set a Sum(interval or something for this? Any tips to set this up? or a good blog to check out.

I am not sure about this but try modifying your SharePoint default view with fuel usage column to descending,and set number of rows displayed to 365 then in your rules choose a condition, maybe on form load behavior, to sum @fuelusagecolumn where number of occurances < 366?
