I am testing out adding cascading dropdowns to my Infopath 2010 forms. My team has not migrated to SharePoint 2010 so I am testing them to access SharePoint Lists in both SharePoint 2010 and 2007. I've gotten everything to work in SP2010. In SP2007 I am having an issue. If I try to open the form from a hyperlink in an email, I get the following error:
Some external data was not retrieved. The form will load without the requested data.
The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: Areas
The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred:
Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction: http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/GetObjectIdFromUrl.
If I go directly on SP2007 and open the form, I do not have this issue. My clients will need to be able to access the forms data from the hyperlink. Can you help?
