Hi,
I am working on a form library and have three different views(edit, approve, thank you) for the form. The form is added to the page in a infopath form webpart.
Whenever the form is submitted, workflow submits emails to three different persons. One if them is a approver and his email has a link to open the form. I could do all this with out any issues.
But my problem now is, the link in the email opens the form in the edit mode. But I want it to open in the approve mode.
I tried the following.
Created a text box, userStatus and set a rule in form load that when userStatus = 'approve' , switch to view approve
Added Query String (URL) Filte webpart to the page and configured the connection to the infopath webpart. Added the userStatus as the consumer field name.
I try to open the url with t e query string, userStatus='approve'. I can get the userStaus text box to populate with the qurey string but then the view does not switch.
Could some one please guide me or let me know if I am doing anything wrong here.
