Newly added promoted fields data not showing in sharepoint list view page

    Hi team

Giving the full detailed steps what have been done and please let me know what I missed .

We have a existed infopath form library  with almost 8000 forms .

    1) I taken form template from sharepoint like .. Go to list settings - > advanced settings -> Edit template.

    2) After I saved that template into my computer.

    3) After I added two new promoted fields to see the data into sharpeoint form library like tools -> Form options -> Properties promotion.

    4) Once I published to same library.. the data is not showing up in the library view page like Allitems.aspx.

Note : If I open each form and close, then I am able to see the data.

I am unable to open each form   as I have many number of forms.

Could you please let me know what I missed  and what is the reason and how internally it works ?

Please let me know asap as it was very urgent.

    Regards,

    Raj

Re: Newly added promoted fields data not showing in sharepoint list view page

hi.. Ive run into this issue several times.. ones you upload a document into sharepoint the new rules of the infopath form will not run until the trigger is met. i.e something in the form changes.. So there are 2 ways to do this.. both are time consuming I might add.. One is to right click on the edit menu from the document . as if you were going to open it..then cancel. Sometimes that tricks sharepoint into thinking something happened in the form and it should re-validate the rules. The 2nd one sometimes works.. I havent figured out the rhyme or reason as why tho.. just something I tried. 1. open the list your referring to 2. in the "action" menu select> edit in data sheet 3. in the data sheet again go to the "action" menu and select "refresh data" ... Depending on how many files you are talking about there are other tricks Im sure you could use.. get it to refresh. But I dont know a "real" way.. Someone else may have that info.. I just know sometimes you need help and fast..
