InfoPath Dev

I'm using InfoPath with SharePoint. I have a browser enabled form (in an InfoPath form library). It then uses secondary data connections to pull from a few SharePoint lists, and display the contents in repeating tables. I also have a formatting rule on the repeating tables to hide rows that do not fall within a given date range.

I'm having trouble with the Rich Text boxes in the repeating tables. The rich text boxes are read only, and are set to expand to show all content. They display fine at first (see attached screenshot "Reporting Form 1"). But if the date range is changed, and the repeating tables update to hide/show the correct rows, all the rich text boxes lose their content (see attached screenshot "Reporting Form 2"). Additionally, they are no longer read-only - I can type text into them.

Sorry, I had some trouble attaching two files. Here is the second screenshot.

It appears that the problem was tied to one of the data connections. I deleted and recreated the data connection, and the problem ceased.

I had made a change to one of the SharePoint columns, changing it from rich text to enhanced rich text. So it is possible that changing the column causes an error in the data connection.
