My form uses qRules and DBXL. I attached a new version of form to DAT tool today, then saved it. It also publishes to Sharepoint.
I opened an existing form from SharePoint library and received this message:
This form was created with a new version of the form template. InfoPath cannot find the new version. Do you want to open with the older version?" Yes or No
In reality the only option is to choose Yes to open the form so I did. Why isn't the new version opening? Why can't the web service find it? How do I get the newer attached so this doesn't happen again?
Update/solution:
What I did was re-attached thenew version to DAT and save again then published the new template from within infopath (to Sharepoint directly) but that was probably the wrong thing to do because all the columns got promoted again and the column data in library disappeared - its there, just needed to refresh all forms. Form opens without the message described above prompt now, but I am wondering what caused this to happen?
