I have a situation where there is a 2007 InfoPath library in which InfoPath form fields get populated via a custom workflow. Going into more details--the InfoPath form name get populated from a prefix (numeric values) coming form one form and the other portion gets named from a value coming from the form itself i.e. post-fix. So finally a InfoPath form is named as xxx-aaa where xxx is a value coming from another form and aaa is a value value from the form itself.
Now the situation is, at times the value does not populated as the way it should--as mentioned above. As a remedy, I was trying to use the following actions within the back-end custom workflow i.e. Set infopath field inner text or Set infopath field inner xml. First of all I was wondering if that's the right thing to do under these circumstances where I create a check if the values do not match then change them with the right pattern.
