I have a form that will be used in the production of "builds" we call it that has components assembled. My form will track the components throughout the build process and it needs to validate whether part numbers and serial numbers are correct. I figured out the part number portion, but now I am stuck on the serial number portion. I will try to describe what I set up the best I can:
2 sharepoint lists going to one form, one receives info, the other receives and submits
There are 10 fields on my form to submit a serial number, but not every part requires a serial number
I am trying to use validation and condition filters to verify whether or not a serial needs to be entered on the form.
I am putting two filters as a condition. One part about this I don't understand is if a condition of the filter is true it stops without checking whether all other filters are true even though I put the AND label on.
Because of this I cannot actually validate whether a field needs a SN or not.
that is the basic of what is happening. I know im probably not explaining this too well, but if you could help in any way I would appreciate it. if more info is needed I will provide it.
