how to disapprove form when 1 of 30 checks is negative

I hope that the title is somewhat correct in regard to the real challenge I have. I have a form that is basically a checklist for about 30 checks. If all checks are OK, then the form has to be send to the publisher. If one of the 30 checks is N(ot)OK, the form has to be send back to the developer. The sending part is quity easy, as I know the developer and the publisher. (both from a sharepoint list) So if a field (email) will be set to the developer content if one of the checks is NOK, the email submit can be set this way. A check consists of a description, 2 checkboxes OK NOK, remarks Now how to set the email field to the developer content if one of the NOK checkboxes is checked I have no idea. Well I do have an idea, but this works only if nobody accidentally checks a NOK box at some time. I know how to combine two boxes together OK and NOK for a single check, so only one can be true at one point. But I can not figure out how to unset the email field once the checker changes a check from NOK to OK. I think I have to do it the following way, set the NOK checkboxes to 1/0, and the sum all the NOK boxes. if the value >0 the email address has to be the developer, if the value = 0 the email address has to be the publisher. But now how to do that..... anybody any ideas?

I've done it. I set all the NOK checkboxes to be 1 if checked. calcfield is to calculate NOK1 + NOK2 + NOK3 etc. RULES: if calcfield > 0 then action set mail field to devmail and if calcfield = 0 then action set mail field to pubmail
