Hi,

I have used InfoPath previously, and wanted to know what the recommended way for finding which SharePoint groups a users is a member of?

Does qRules provide and quick way of retrieving this information?

SharePoint provides the user profile service to access this type of information.

qRules has a command called GetUserProfileByName, but this command relies on SharePoint's User Profile Service.

So, bottom line, whether you access via rules, via code or via qRules, you'll need SharePoint's User Profile Service! Here are a couple of links to get you started.

Sorry for the late reply(notification got caught in the SPAM). Is the GetUserProfileByName qRules a better method to use then using the following post http://www.projectpoint.at/?p=97 (export manifest etc)
