We have a form with a drop-down that is setup with several people's names in it. After updating the form when someone's name changed inside of IP2010 and re-publishing it to SharePoint however the web form still shows the old name, not the new one. I've updated the workflow to change the name once it's saved so that the proper trigger occurs, but why won't the drop-down list change? I've tried removing that person's name from the list as well, moving it up and down, but it still will not show properly when a user launches a new form.

 Could you check your form's versioning settings under Form options?

Ok, that's odd. If you've updated the data connection source data, then the dropdown should be updated. If you make changes to the template and those are the versioning settings, then both the template and the existing xml forms should be updated. Perhaps try creating a new/test form with a data connection similar to the one used in the dropdown to test whether the data is being read correctly?

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, there isn't a datasource for the dropdown. I've manually added the names to the dropdown as there are only 5 people that were needed to be on it. I then changed the last name in the list.

Still, the versioning settings means that your form gets upgraded and you see the latest available in the dropdown.

Is this issue happening will all forms (existing and new)?

This is the only one that I've seen it on. It is odd because the preview screen looks great. I then Publish it, upload it through Central Admin, and then go view it in the library and the name is still the 'old' name.

Any other ideas? I may try changing the drop down to be data-source driven instead of populating the list.
