    Retain text in emailed form

InfoPath 2010 Filler form. When I submit the form to email, the email shows the form perfectly, but all text fields are text boxes instead of just text in a table cell. Numbers and labels are text and can be selected and copied, but it is impossible to select the whole form and copy/paste, since the text fields are objects.

What can I do to have the text sitting in the table cell as text, just like the numbers do?

     cheers, teylyn

    Hi teylyn,

You can create a special view that is taylored for the email body. In that view, change the text boxes into calculated values. Calculated values will show as plain text in the view. However, in the body of the email, they will still appear as objects, unfortunately.

Have a button to switch to that view and send to email.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,
