Format fields from SharePoint to Display in InfoPath

I am grabbing data from several share point lists, a lot of numbers and dates. The fields in the list DATE only and Number with Whole Numbers Only. I have added the date from these fields to InfoPath Date and List Item fields and they display incorrectly. The date field displays as 2013-03-17T00:00:00 and teh number filed returns as 15.0000000000000. I have double checked the fields in SharePoint they are DATE only and Number with no decimal. I have tried simple text field in InfopPath as well as using Date and Number formats but they will not change. Any Ideas Please :)

    Hi Mr. Wilde,

SharePoint stores data in SQL. Those are SQL data type conversions. Your InfoPath form's data source can have fields that are of type date, time, or date and time. So, just change it to Date only and you should be good for the first one. For the second, it's a bit more complicated since double is converted into a decimal. InfoPath has mantissa issues. I recommend storing it as a string and having another field with a default value that has a fx of number(field1) where field1 is the string field with the string number.

    Some random thoughts for ya.
