Change status of Form based on Status field in a repeating section.

I am rather new to Infopath. I have an overall status on a form as either Open or Closed. Inside a repeating section I have a column that is also a status of either Open or Closed. I want the form status to switch to Closed only when all the repeating sections status columns are all also Closed. If any remains Open then the form itself will remain open.

    Thanks.

My initial reaction is how will the form know when the repeating section has finished and complete? You'll always be able to add more sections, so it will always be open and never finished. Thus how about after X set another field to Closed and use that to switch to closed.

Re: Change status of Form based on Status field in a repeating section.

The process is when the form is created all repeating rows are added at that time and they will all default to Open. It would be a rare case most likely never that another section would be added after the initial load. So the status will remain Open for the form.

Then later they will come in and update some of the rows closing them out one at a time.  When the last one closes I will need the form to automatically switch to Closed. I can have them manually switch the form to Closed but management would rather have it happen automatically as a control and not let the user Close on their own.

Sorry but I did not understand your suggested resolution.
