    Change drop-down box value on submit

    Hi all, Is there a way to auto change the value of a drop-down list box on submitting to a SharePoint library?

    Hi Dom80,

    Instead of using the default submit functionality, add a button with a rule that submits, sets the value of your dropdown field, and then submits again.

    That ought to do it.

    Hi Patrick, Thanks for getting back to me. I have looked at creating a rule with the button selected and it only has the formatting option available. how would I go about changing the value of the field using the submit function? Adam
