Hi everyone,
I've got an InfoPath 2010 form which has a series of Groups, each containing a number of elements, something like this...
myFields
myFields\PageTemplate
myFields\PageTemplate\QuestionTemplate_1
myFields\PageTemplate\QuestionTemplate_2
myFields\PageTemplate\QuestionTemplate_3
myFields\PageTemplate\QuestionTemplate_4
I now need to create QuestionTemplates 5,6 and 7, which would be an identical copy of Question Templates 1,2,3 and 4.
I realise this can be better done as a repeating group, rather than duplicating each, however because this is a running application, I can't afford the time to recode the form using a Repeating Group. So I would simply like to duplicate the QuestionTemplate group.
Because there are so many elements within the group, I would prefer not to have to retype/recreate them. So I'd like to duplicate, but don't know how.
I have tried extracting the myschema.XSD file from within the form (by renaming the form as .CAB). I've then tried amending the Schema to duplicate the elements directly in that XSD file. I then try to add that updated schema into the form, by using the option "Add Complete Schema or XML document", but this hasn't been successful - it seems to duplicate the original schema, but without adding in the new template which I created in the XSD file.
Does anyone have a better way of doing this?
thanks in advance
David Jones
