Conditional Formatting based on SharePoint Group

    Hi All,

I am pretty much new to InfoPath, can i know the feasibility of the below mentioned requirement.

can we have a development to allow the InfoPath form designer to be able to “set the visibility of each field” for “selected Sharepoint group” like user wants.

For instance I will create one new form and I want to make one of the field only visible to 2 groups A and B.

Also can we  populate the SharePoint Groups in the already available conditional formating dropdown and can we accomplish this requirement?

your help is greatly appreciated .

    Thanks

Yes, this is possible. InfoPath allows you to create conditional formatting to hide/show controls or sections. The key is to think about how you would determine who the current user is and what their group is. Will you be using the UserProfileService? An Active Directory web service? Depending on what the source of the your user info is, you can search for more specific tutorials on this.

    Good luck!
