Hey Qazi, I tried your solution and I am not able to pre populate the list. I am using Info path 2010 and web services to do this... I am trying to populate my text field by changing the drop down list. I am creating a rule on drop down where the rule will take actions and will populate the text box with the field of DB. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks, Mitali

 What if you are not using a SharePoint data source? Instead, the value of the dropdown were manually entered?
