Data connection to get text from a SharePoint article page

    Hi,

Is there a way to get the text from a SharePoint page?  I have an article page that will be chaning every so often but want the article to be added to my infopath form.  My next question after that, if it can be done, is that I would only want to display x amount of characters, say 75, and then have the "...more" link to the original article.

    Thanks for your help,

    -B

Ok, my senior moment is over.....

The pages library does have fields I can query and although I can see the field "Page Content" in the library, InfoPath does not see that as a consumable field.  Not sure why.  So I thought I would turn to my old friend "oData" and sneak around InfoPath's GUI.  oData does not return that field either.  Any ideas on how to get at the information?

the field type for the column "page content" is Publishing HTML

    Thanks,

    -Bob

Looks like this issue is due to the fact that the column "Page Content" is from the Article content type.  I saw a simlar question asked here in 2011, (http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/20826/72134.aspx#72134 ) but no reply :-(.

Could there be a way to query the columns in the library that come from a content type?  qRules?
