I keep getting an error when trying to create a prepopulated address field based off a data connection in SP 2007.Below are the steps I take to add the data connection to the XYZ form in my SP 2007 environment. Address field is setup as a drop down list.1. Select “Get choices from external data source2. Click Add3. Select “Search for connection on a Microsoft SharePoint Server4. Select the XYZ form library.5. Select Data Library6. Select ABCMaster.udcx7. Click nextDownloading dataThen I receive the following error. InfoPath cannot connect to data source.Details: InfoPath had encountered an error. The Operation failed.There is nothing the server logs either.
I have only used InfoPath for 6 + months. I am not 100% sure how the data connections work, Any help would be creatly appriciated.
