Hi all,
New to InfoPath but loving it so far. In general, it is quite easy to achieve the interactivity you want in a form, but for some reason I just can't get the following scenario to work properly. Fairly sure it I am overlooking something obvious so any assistance/guidance is highly appreciated!
I have an Optional Section which only should be visible if a specific value is present in another (repeating) table. Schematic of that table:
|
Column A |
Column B |
Column C |
|
Text 1 |
Text 2 |
A |
|
B |
|
~Add row(ColumnC) |
|
Text 3 |
Text 4 |
C |
|
A |
|
~Add row(ColumnC) |
~Add row(ColumnA-C)
So it is a repeatable table, containing one additional repeatable row. I want the optional section to be hidden unless a specific value is present in Column C which is in a drop down list (for sake of this post: value A is required). The other away around is easy enough.
If I use the following condition "Condition: Column C is equal to A, Rule type: Formatting, [/] Hide this control" the section is perfectly well hidden when A is the value.
But I want the section to be visible if A is selected anywhere in Colum C....! If I change the condition to "Column C is not equal to A" it works, but only if A is the only value in Colum C. But as you can see, I can have both A and B/C/D in there.
What am I doing wrong? :)
