    Hi all,

    I am using Infopath 2010 and VS 2010. I created a custom Task pane in visual studio 2010 to use it in infopath. How can I deploy it. I used the COM-Addin but it fails. Can I use this add-in in browser based forms? if so, how to deploy and see it. Can somebody give me step-by-step process to include an add-in in infopath and delpy as browser based form. thanks

    I'm not sure whether or not anyone here has experience with using the type of taskpane you're talking about in InfoPath.  I have worked on InfoPath taskpanes, but ones that were written in HTML, not with compiled code. What have you designed your taskpane to do?

    I can say with a fair amount of confidence that custom taskpanes of either type are probably not going to work in browser forms.
