    Sending templates when certain text is selected

    Hi,

    Is it possible to recieve some assistance with the following please; (I will use a random situation for a better understanding)

    I am creating a form in infopath designer (2010) and will publish it onto sharepoint 2010.

    Form example

    Visitors Information

    Visitor Name; (typed it)                     Visiting: (people picker)

    Department: (drop down list)             Area: (Drop down list; Birmingham, Sheffield or London)

     WOULD LIKE;

    This form will generate an automatic email to the person who is being visited. When the area is clicked on; Birmingham for example, I would like a template of 'Bournville Map' to automatically be attached so when the email is sent, the bournville map template will also be sent.

    So originally, Im guessing the three maps; Birmingham map, Sheffield map and London Map will have to be on the system somewhere already.

    I hope this makes sense. If further info is needed, please ask.

    Thanks for your time and response in advance.

    What i would like is that when a user clicks a certain text (from a drop down list) a template will automatically attach to it.

    So, you have three different templates? I guess I'm a little confused about your requirements. Out of the box, InfoPath won't do that - you can include the template you are filling out with an email connection - you may just need to use different views in the same template with some form logic to open the correct one based on your drop down selection.
