Hi,
I'm a first time poster, so I apologize if I leave out any information or have posted this in the wrong place.
I'm using Infopath 2003 SP3 (with Office 2003) on Windows XP SP3. My company won't allow me to set-up a "certificate" to get my form to be "fully trusted". I need to submit the form through e-mail, so I'm stuck using the default submit options, by going in to Tools > Submitting Forms, and configuring the "E-mail" option...
The issue I have is that we have an "Entrust" security component installed with Outlook which allows you to encrypt e-mails. When sending any e-mail out of Outlook 2003, a "Confirm Message Security" window opens up, which allows you to encrypt the e-mail or digitally sign it... when you click send on it, the e-mail will send. When I click my "Submit" button in my published form, the entrust window will open up (with a window title of "Confirm Message Security"), but it opens up BEHIND my infopath form. The only way to get it is to double click the Outlook icon (thus bringing forward any Outlook windows) or alt-tabbing. This is obviously frustrating for users, especially the "less-than-IT-savy" ones.
What I would like to do is get in to the Submit function and add a line to focus on the Entrust window that opens up, so it automatically goes to the front, but I'm not able to see the submit function in my script editor, since I've set it up using the Submitting Forms options in infopath.
I'm hoping that makes sense... if it does, is there a way for me to manually edit the function while still allowing infopath to generate the function concerning e-mails? As I stated above, if I want to manually do the e-mailing with code, I need my form to be fully trusted... which won't be possible.
Thank you in advance for any advice!
Dan
