Error: InfoPath 2010 cannot open a new form - error in calculation code

In my form, I automatically fill the 'SubmittedBy' textbox with the Username - -
This is the error that I get (starting with the one in the subject line) when I Preview the form:

     InfoPath
Your user name cannot be verified because the form's security settings do not permit it.
Error occurred during a call to property or method 'get-UserName'.

Then, if I remove the function to get the username in that field, it loads fine. I had this working for a long time. It just started doing this.
I don't really want to publish it, though i have some bug fixes I need to get published, until this is resolved.

    Any ideas?

There are several dropdowns which get data from other lists on the published site, if that helps

What is the form's Security Level set at? This is under Tools / Form Options / Security & Trust in IP 2003 & 2007, and under File / Info / Advanced Form Options / Security & Trust in IP 2010.

The checkbox for automatically determining the level is checked, and it's grayed out, but I  can see it's domain. I've tried unchecking the checkbox and selecting 'Domain', but that didn't help.

I know it's not the way to go, but if I put it at Full Trust, it will work just fine:)

I'm wondering if you get different results when the form is published (after setting the trust level back to domain, of course). Are you publishing to a form library? Can you publish a test version of the form to a test library, and see if you still have this error when the form is opened from its published location?

Were you previously able to open the form in preview without this error? Has anything changed on your machine, to your knowledge?

Unfortunately, we only have a test server at this point - - the department said they didn't want to wait until we got a new server so we got a new domain and set it up for them.....it's a very precarious position to be in - -

But since this is now, technically, a production installation, I don't want to take the chance on publishing it and having it do the same thing on the prod server.

Since we changed the domain for publishing, I had changed all the lists and datasources to the new server/domain. That's what changed.

    [Next day]

I went in early to test and sure enough, when I publish, everything is fine. Thanks for all your help

In InfoPath 2013, it is located in File > Info > Form Options (Advanced Form Options) > Security and Trust. I changed my options to Full Trust. (The form has access to files and settings on the computer).

Then my Username(), worked perfectly to preview.
