Retrieving unique names from a list to be inserted into a repeating table

I have a repeating table with predefined rows. One field is labeled AcctMgr in which I insert the name of the rep manually. I want to know how to populate the acctmgr field using a formula to look at a list and return a unique name for however many names are in the list for the predetermined fields. This way I only have to edit the list vs the form. IP2010, SP2010, qRules Thanks for the help.

    Hi -

So, you can create a data connection to the list, and you can use qRules Insert to insert rows to your main data source and then logic on the rows to populate - the issue I think will be getting just the unique names. I don't quite understand this:

I'm a little confused about the details here, if you can provide a bit more info that would be helpful.

The list is just all the account managers names. I just want the account manager field to be filled by one of the names until the names run out. If there is 10 names then there should be 10 rows with each name starting it.

So, I'd query the list to get back the names. Then I'd use the methods outlined in this doc to populate rows in my main data source - basically, insert a row, get the id from the secondary data source based on the position of the rows, and then populate the name based on that id.

I am having a little trouble with this. According to the tutorial you are retrieving information based off the ID you provide right? I just want it to automatically return all the names without any typing or user intervention. Form loads all rows are there with each account managers name.
