Scenario:
Have any user outside of the network and/or organization email a dummy account set up to automatically respond with an InfoPath form. The external user fills out the form and submits the form via email to a SharePoint list. Once it hits the SharePoint list (Forms Library) a workflow then kicks off for internal staff to complete the process.
Current status:
I have tried multiple things here and I still cannot get this to work for the life of me. I have an outlook email account setup to automatically return a form. That's not an issue. The issue is that InfoPath form and the security it has in it.
I have the following Data Connection set up:
Web Service to SAP
Email Submit Connection
Ideally, I'd like to have just a straight up dumb form, data entry only, for the user to fill out. I would then like that submitted to a list where that data is automatically filled into the actual form with all the data connections but it doesn't look like that is as easy as it sounds.
My main goal here is to get from point A to point C.
A = External User
B = Transfer of data from outlook to SharePoint.
C = Internal process started with correct form (SAP Data Connection, SharePoint Data Connection)
However, point B is throwing me for a loop.
Thank you in advance for any helpful input
