While developing a web based form in InfoPath Designer 2010 I preview the form and successfully submit it to the target SharePoint 2010 form library. But I cannot open/edit the completed form from the SharePoint form library. When choosing to edit the form in the browser I'm prompted to Open/Save/Save As, then get an error (see below). The form has been published to SharePoint as an administrator approved form template. Creating the form from within SharePoint/web browser and then editing from the browser works fine.
I can partially understand the error I get when attempting to open the form from the SharePoint form library in the InfoPath client, "The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer. InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form template is not fully trusted. For a form to run with full trust, it must be installed or digitally signed with a certificate." But getting the same error when trying to edit the form in the browser just because it was submitted by the client does not make sense to me.
This is not critical, but annoying during development. Is this just the way it is?
